Visual Resources collection moves to Daley Library

The Visual Resources library, a collection of images developed and maintained by the College of Architecture and the Arts (A&A) for instruction, has moved into room 1-461 of the Daley Library as of July 2009.

Jane Darcovich, Visual Resources Librarian, and a staff of graduate assistants identify or scan images for use in classes and maintain a collection of slides and an online database of images. The Visual Resources library supplements other image collections available to the UIC community such as ARTstor, the Saskia Art Images Collection, and UIC's digital holdings in CARLI Digital Collections.

The normal hours of the Visual Resources library are Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:45 p.m.; patrons should phone ahead before coming to use the materials (312 413 2464) or email darcovic@uic.edu., field_56ba6f8fdb00c
