Career, skill-building information available in LearningExpress Library

UIC Library users now have access to a wide range of interactive skill-building courses and instantly-scored practice tests, 150 electronic books, and a Job Search and Workplace Skills Learning Center through the LearningExpress Library.

This online resource lets you practice taking admissions and placement tests, including the GRE, GMAT, and Medical College Admission Test (MCAT). The electronic books cover topics such as academic test preparation, reading skills, civil service exams, real estate, math skills, health occupations, writing skills career tools, science, and U.S Citizenship. The Job Search and Workplace Skills Center provides courses and practices in a wide variety of subjects such choosing a career, job hunting, interviewing, networking, sharpening your business writing skills, and dealing with coworkers.

Find the LearningExpress Library on the Databases A to Z list on the Library's Web page. You can browse the materials and view the electronic books anonymously; however, you must register with a username and password if you want to take the tests.
